What is the safest 3d format?
-
hi DevΒ΄s and Rubicons.
I have a question about: How safe is a 3d format or 3d environment.
Lightup4Sketchup, Lumion, 3dPDF, LumenRT etc.I have some 3d-objects and have not the permission to give away as 3d-file. only in a game-environment or as player file like Lightup4sketchup or LumenRT etc.
Now my question.. how strong or how difficult is it to convert this fileformates to a 3d-mesh?thank you
Dean
p.s. in this forum i have ask the same question

Nothing is 100% safe.
But Kubity, SketchFabe, P3D etc are good ways to share files because you only need to give out a URL.

Hi Rich yes thats right
do you know Pages...or Publications about this Topic.
Tables to compare etc?
Thank you for your fast answer.

I don't have comparisons, but for the .skp file format support Kubity seems to trump the others.
For visual richness SketchFab offers material support of spec, normal and PBR setup.
Luckily they all offer free accounts so you can test them without a Credit Card.

yes I will try... i would wish skp would be a format only visible in the viewer
as suggestion SKV sketchup viewer file
