[REQ] Unhide all edges

Is there a script that can unhide all edges in selection even if they are inside a nested group or component.
I think it would be great to also have options to only unhide all unsmooth edges or all edges that are not coplanar. -
There are probably many plugins, but I remember I wrote one some times ago.
