Icon Image in SU 16

Happy New Year to you all.
Happy one for me as I finally got a new iMac, and no longer have to deal with a slow as treacle dinosaur. However, for the life of me I cannot remember the name of the extension that I had in SU 15 (using SU16 now) that allowed me to apply the images of the contents to the icons on my .skp files.
It was (is) the best thing ever, and saved me huge amounts of time trying to find something especially if it was lost amongst my auto-save files. I don't think I can exist without it.
Please if anyone can refresh my memory and fingers crossed that it will work with SU16, as I understand through the grapevine that they have tightened up on their allowing certain extensions to be installed. I would be eternally grateful.

As I keep saying... must have been on an errand when they were handing out brains in heaven. Sheesh... Just went back to my old posts and found the ruby's name. Add-icons v1.0.2rbz. I have downloaded it once more and just hope and pray it works with SU16. Sorry...

hi Kathryn, let me know on the Add_Icons thread if anything isn't working for you...
I do have a update in the wings, but that one still works for most people on SU 2016...
The File menu item [at least] should work on all versions...

Bless you my son, thank you and will do. The (nephew) boss rushing me for something that he needs toute suite, so will install the ruby after lunch. Thanks again - that ruby is BRILLIANT!

Hi John,
Believe it or not I only got the chance to today to check up on my ruby install for the icon image. At first it was eeek! I know I installed it where is it? But on taking a quick look saw that it was not checked in the extensions list.
All good now and it is working as wonderfully as it was before. At the risk or repeating myself, it is a lifesaver!

when I first wrote it, my daughter [then 10] said I should charge a penny an icon to repay the time I spend on it...
I told her I couldn't because it was a temporary solution and SU would add the ability back in 'any day'...
that was v8, I should have heeded her advice...

Absolutely correct. However, I can empathise, since I have long since accepted the fact that I shall not die rich, as I can never seem to charge people for anything that I do, from wedding cakes to digital artwork to assorted types of projects glass to wood and beyond.
I do though get great pleasure from just the "doing" and hey! What would I do with all that money anyway - right?
