Hi Simon, great pictures and thanks for sharing these.
I googled a little bit and found out, that the monastic cells really looks exactly the way you show it here. How incredibly sparse, small and cramped!

Thanks for the comments guys. Small spaces are usually because of size restraints but in this case it was for humbleness and spartan restrictions. This is the smaller version of the cell the older monks have a slightly wider cell. The proportions are Corbusier's modular system based on the proportions of the human body. The room size is 2.26 high 1.83 wide and 5.9 metres long. Corbusier was also influenced by Mondrian in the colours and framing of areas. I made everything from scratch for this scene the lamp was quite a challenge.
