Perhaps not a bug, but an issue at the least. I made a file with multiple geo-locations in it. I wanted the most dense mesh I could get for a given area so I zoomed all the way in and made the site in numerous pieces. When I imported that file into another application, all the meshes (other than the edge faces that were cut down from full size) lined up perfectly, each corner aligned to those in every nearby mesh, it worked great. I tried the same process again (numerous times in different versions of sketchup) and I can not repeat the result. The meshes all come in as though they were a unique mesh and don't line up at all. They are more or less in the same area, but non of the vertices line up and there is no good way to connect them.. I can't find any settings that effect how the terrain is made in the gui, and am wondering if there is a setting in a config file that my cause this?

I too am wondering if you can mess around with the geo locations mesh detail like give it more vertices before showing the terrain for a more precise terrain
