Here are a few pics from the first day of the London Basecamp.
I filmed some of the presentations and will try to upload them when I get home.

Any pics or movies are really appreciated! I wish I could have been there. Hoping for a new edition at some time.

            Day 2.

            Mingling

Adam Billyard show off LightUp and LightUp analythics.

ThomThom, easily recognisable in his hat.

Felix and Anders talks about classical architecture.

Some serious modelling made in SketchUp.
They told us that to get around SketchUps problem with faces less than 1x1 mm they modelled at a x 1.000.000 scale.
Everything was solids and they created several scripts to help. Flowify being one of them.

Noel Warren speaks about Vray 3 for SketchUp Pre Alpha presentation.

New UI built from the ground up using web tech. UI for SU and Rhino will be the same.

Thomthom on the first row getting exited.
Vray 2 startup in 14.9 sec on Noels laptop. (1.7ghz i7 "typewriter")
Vray 3 startup on 0.9 sec.

                Faster parsing times.

                UI

                Hush, hush. Very secret...

Yes he did. It would have been great to have seen Giannis or Thomasz there though.

                      More videos coming soon...

They can't be everywhere and they're attending the dev. basecamp... (whatever that is...)

Felix and Anders talks about classical architecture and shows some serious modelling. (Funny too.)

Thomthom shows subD (sub division modelling) plugin and talks about quads.

                          Rich O'Brian shows EDG3D.

I guess that's about what I had to show from the event.
                          A great gathering.
So pleased I got to meet all these great people.

BIG THANKS to Rich and the others for making it happen.

Looks like it was a great seminar, shame I couldn't make the actual presentations.
