Can one model a puppet style character in Sketchup?
-
Hi to all,
Up to now I have modeled only a building in Sketchup. But is it possible to model a puppet also, such as a ventrologist's dummy? If not, can one use a photo and make a model from that with photo match? I am new to Sketchup. I have never used photo match.
Something as in the attachment. I can't buy the model but would love to try make my own.
Any suggestions are much appreciated!

you should be able to model it yes, you will need plugins / extensions to assist in organic modeling though

Any suggestions of free plugins which will be able to create this with?
I am a retired person and can't buy stuff but want to learn making my own models. -
I'll post a few links of things you could try, most are payware though...

Also have a look (Sketchucation Pluginstore) at what fredo6 has on offer, they may also be of help, if I recall correctly his stuff is free.
Why not have a look on 3D warehouse for something you could use as a base and manipulate that?

juju, thank you for the links. I have downloaded all of fredo6's plugins. Now I have to go and watch the video on how to install them.
