SketchUp 2015 pro crashes with Window 8.1

Ever since I got my new laptop Lenovo with Windows 8.1 Home edition and installing SketchUp 2015 Pro, when I am working with SketchUp it takes on common bases 8 minutes from starting until the SketchUp crashes.
I have tried with several setting and adjusting the bios without any changes.
My old laptop with Windows 7 and SketchUp 2015 Pro worked just fine, no glitches at all.
The podium rendering program doesn't recognize with legal serial number either.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Any input would be helpful.

I have a laptop with Windows 8.1 and SketchUp 2015 pro and it works fine.
Could it be a plugin or perhaps issues with drivers for your graphics card?
What card does it have? -
I remember somebody having a similar problem. Unfortunately I don't know if it got sorted out and, if so, what the cure was.
I would start troubleshooting by switching off hardware acceleration (OpenGL) setting and see if that works.

Well, sometimes things can solve themselves....
Last night my laptop did a major Windows update, and lo and behold today I have been working with sketchup and it's running just fine.
Even rendering works without glitches and bugsplash.
Sorry to bother in this matter.Laptop is a Lenovo G50,
came with a 1 TB HDD,
16 GB ram,
I7 dual core 3.5Ghz processor
