how to turn a existing complex tube structure from a quadrangular shape in another one, like esagonal one?

if it was modeled using profile builder / profile builder 2 it would have been quite easy / quick. else I suspect you'd have to model it again.

Structure on the left ist just Simple cubes!

Didier Bur has Line2tubes (Just put Precision = 4 for quadrangle, Precision = 6 for have Hexagons etc...
But you have to keep the path somewhere!
Else it's absolutely easy if you have made your structure with components!
Just change the component!Component Replacer by Thomthom!
