Any GOOD dxf writing guides? (Autodesk seems dead)
-
I need a GOOD dxf guideline to include as much as I can take from a SU file (layers, line types, colors-based on materials), etc.
Also I want to be able to produce the file compatible with CNC (i don't know if there is some specific requirement or file architecture)I tried to find something...either I find general info only, or really old.
Autodesk seem to have only dead links: http://www.autodesk.com/techpubs/autocad/acad2000/dxf/writing_a_dxf_file_dxf_aa.htm (other dxf-related links are equally dead)Thanks for any help.

Umm, nothing? Is like DXF is the biggest kept secret in the world
))) -
Googling 'dxf reference guide' return lots of interesting hits - e.g. http://www.autodesk.com/techpubs/autocad/acadr14/dxf/dxf_reference.htm
Also there are several RB file plugins in the PluginStore which do DXF import/export manipulation - so using those as 'cribs' would help too...
So what more do you want ? -
