Sketchup learning

Hello,

I'm looking for a software or a book that contain detailed instructions for modeling an advanced project in sketchup. I'm working in the field of architecture. I have only found books and softwares that contain a large amount of exercises, mostly, for learning to operate the software from the beginning. I know there are some softwares teaches 3ds max through 1 project/exercise (that is the kind of software or book i'm looking for).

You don't think you should start at the beginning to learn the important basics?
You will get help here if you ask specific questions, in my opinion, you will learn more and faster this way than reading a book.

yes, i also think like you. I learned to operate autocad with a book, through one continous exercise of drawing and modeling a house. it proved to be successful.
but i will give it a try.

There are a couple books in the shop. It depends on what you are modeling for. Those books focus on creating an exterior model for rendering. I know there are at least two books on creating models for construction drawings, often advertised here. They include LayOut methods. I'd have to search for them myself, so try searching construction drawings and LayOut. A new one is supposed to be coming out shortly, that's been discussed here. Search "Sonder".
