          We call those recorder. They do come in plastic, which could be marbled like that. Very nice rendition. Now play Stairway to Heaven on it.

            Cotty, your render has reminded me of how I used to have to map textures. Now its so easy to wrap the texture around a surface... but what if one actually wants the texture to run through the model, as with this recorder? I can't think how to do that, either with SU of another renderer.

              Project a texture diagonally to the whole model...

                JQL is right, I have only used one projected texture, a one-click thing with Fredos Thrupaint...
