Can I "forget" a thread I've posted in ?

Did you try unsubscribing?

gonna unsubscribe myself from this to see if it works

ok, so unsubscribing simply doesn't notify me of new posts but still lists it in my posts...
ho hum...

It says "Subscribe",... so I am not manually subscribed.
It appears at the top of "My Posts" because of the activity, and because I posted in the thread years ago. (I wish I hadn't now.)

I view mine by 'post time' + 'descending' and long gone ones are on page xxx....

Me too. The issue is that people post into it almost every day.
It's just become a advert thread for vaping merchandise, and tobacco juice. -

It's just become a advert thread for vaping merchandise, and tobacco juice.Well that's what it was from the start Dan? Nobody here profits from the thread. We support each other by sharing experiences and technology in the hope others will make the switch and quit smoking too.
I had no idea it would be so active with nearly 15,000 views....at the end of the day, it has helped several forum regulars/gurus quit smoking for good which can't be a bad thing. The thread is merely a platform to test and review vaping technology and smoking cessation tools that actually work and give results.
If you quit by hypnotherapy then well done, but many people don't have such luck. Your contribution to the thread was valued and welcomed.

You didn't need to defend the thread.
I just didn't quit smoking,.. I overcame the addiction to nicotine.Anyway, I have just moved on. And I wanted a way so that the topic would not appear in bright red, at the top of MY "My Posts" list every single darn day.
I do not need to be reminded every darn day that I used to smoke.

Does deleting your comment(s) work?

I looked to see if there was a delete button, but do not see one. Perhaps the post is too old ?
