Making a curved rail with tennon, profile question
-
Hey folks, I'm in the process of making a fireplace surround and I'm looking to utilize some curved rails that I intend to make with a rail cutting router bit. What I'm having a hard time doing is having the attached profile follow the contour of the rail. It's a bit hard to explain, but the pictures should make things clearer. Can anyone help?

I would suggest making a profile and then using the follow me tool.
FYI: You'll get more advice adding photos or screen shots because people are too lazy to download the file and look.
-
I wouldn't necessarily say lazy, I often answer from my phone and am unable to look at the skp, so both a screen shot and skp are the way to go.

Box, I know you're on your phone in bed with a bag of cheetos and a 72" wide screen watching Finding Nemo for the 800th time.

Almost, I'm on the beach about to go for a swim having just finished a 5k run, so there are some clowns and fish about. God knows what cheetos are.
-
5k? Are you insane? I only run if something is chasing me and it better be really big and have sharp teeth or something that goes bang bang.
Cheetos...

Thanks guys! Your help is greatly appreciated.

You thin this is insane? My way to the toilet is longer than 5k mm ...
