      Hi all

I dont know if i posted this in right place but anyway...
Recently I bought a new laptop and installed SketchUp 8 and tried to open some projects I started working on my PC where everything worked fine but on my laptop graphics seem to be pretty bad. Lines are not straight as they are on my PC...I wanted to ask if someone knows whats the problem and how to fix it. Ive already tried something with Window>Preferences>OpenGL but it didnt help. Here is a print screen of project. (It looks worse than on the picture)

Looks as bad as SU on a Mac! I know there's a place in the Windows version to adjust the AA but that's probably what you tried already.

That most definitely looks like an Anti Aliasing issue. You should see the setting in the opengl tab of preferences. If you are unable to select a higher value then it usually means your Graphics card doesn't support it. Many laptops have lower settings than desktops.
Have a look at the settings of your graphic card itself and see if you are able to adjust it there.

Do you know you can adjust the AA on some macs via the ruby console?
In the Console type Test.set_AA_method(4) and hit enter then restart SU.
Not guaranteed to work but it does with some.

Yes, I check that time to time. In the past the performance hit has not been worth it. Some jumping of view and momentary hanging.
