      Hi!
      If the scene has several textured components.
      Is there a way to display in the message, the name of the texture only the selected component ?

        Open the Ruby Console.
        Select one component-instance.
        Copy/Paste this one-liner:

        Sketchup.active_model.selection[0].material.display_name

          Oh, sorry my mistake...
          I meant not the name of the material and the name of the texture (for example :Wood_Cherry_Original.jpg)

            You obtain that from the Texture object: http://www.sketchup.com/intl/en/developer/docs/ourdoc/texture
