Hi there. I'm reasonably new to Sketchup and I've been trying to do some flue design with it. It's gone pretty well so far but I was wondering what the capabilities of Ruby would be.

Ideally I'd be looking to be able to drop a stove into a model of a house and the flue would then automatically place itself to terminate above the roof line. There would be parts relating to going through floors/ceilings and also support components between certain lengths. An important factor would also be that you can't join the lengths of flue through a floor.

Once this has been done automatically it would be nice if I could then drag the flue to offset it with bends.

I've already modeled the flue components which have a 'guide' cross to match up the lengths.

I've seen there is a pipe plugin which looks really good but I'd need it to be more specific to our flue.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
