German Tiger Tank

Watching all the D-Day docs on TV compelled me to build a tank, and so I eventually chose the German Tiger. Built in SU, Rendered in Mental Ray.

Thanks Ken. they took me a couple of weeks to build. The tank + the scene render needed some plugins, such as draw on surface and Artisan for the terrain.

noticed they had a rugged appearance but didn't know these tanks used a special coating. thanks for pointing it out.

You are most welcome, there were some variations on this finish which was stopped in about august of 1944 I think, Henschell and Krupp were both building the tanks. I will add a few jpg if you want to give them a go as bump maps.
