    Now in the Plugin Store.

    [pre:1gukrj7q]Mar 21, 2014 v1.0.0

    • First public release.

Activate the tool from the Plugins menu.
The plugin will remember the current camera position.
Use the Time and Date slides to change the view.
Click in the model, then use the mouse wheel to zoom, or
enter a camera distance in the Measurements box, press ENTER.
Deactivating the tool restores original camera position.[/pre:1gukrj7q]

An excellent little tool! Combined with some face me components and you can easily work out the logistics of sun following solar panels.

One small "bug" if you try to close your file with the tool active you get locked out of the do you want to save dialog.

Thanks Jim. This tool is great. I can easily see what parts of my building are exposed to the sun at any given time.

                Cheers

                    Hey Jim,
                    Very cool tool, thanks!
Little prob: on SU8 Pro, OS X version, I cannot deactivate the "Attach Camera to Sun" menu item. It keeps showing as checked, and keeps following the sun.
                    Could you please fix?
                    Thx..!
