Bugsplat when moving elements a defined dimension

I've had this problem infrequently for a long time, but suddenly it seems to be happening a lot. It happens when I move a face a defined distance, like say slide an element over 12"... straight to bugsplat... Doesn't happen with push/pull, doesn't happen with an undefined move, only after I hit the value then press enter. This is a pretty big problem...
Any ideas?
