Flattening a TIN

How can I flatten a TIN terrain in certain places?

Two plugins come to mind, both are paid. Artisan by Whaat or Vertex Tools by thomthom.

Drop Vertices by TIG http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=346754#p346754 is your friend, I use it daily.
Also do you want terrain to slope down or drop suddenly like a wall?

Slope down, for example for some area. So all the vertices could be on same level on that area.
