2D rounded corners?

Is there any plugin that would help to quickly make corners of 2D polygons rounded?
To achieve this, I draw an arc on top of two edges and make it "tangent", then delete two small lines that remain from the corner edges. And the edges are now connected in rounded way. It seems simple for a plugin, just specify the radius and click on two adjacent edges.I have 3D rounded corners plugin but it doesn't work on edges alone.

There is TIG's 2D tools suite, one of which is Fillet. You can also set it to do a chamfer, I believe.
