SU2014 Intersect Selection Not Intersecting Selection

Anyone having trouble with intersecting selections in 2014. Even with just two simple perpendicular planes, sketchup tells me it couldn't find any intersecting geometry to intersect. I click OK to that dialog and anything in the selection gets triangulated, but the intersect I need doesn't happen. Doesn't matter if I try with solid tools or through right click menus... I never had a problem with intersect in any previous version, but multiple people in my office are having the same issue with 2014.
