I'm working on a set of drawings where I want the surfaces shaded, which using the Style from SketchUp works fine. What I'm trying to figure out how to do, is make the shading much lighter, and I can't seem to figure out if its even possible.

I'm talking about shading, not shadows. In SU, I can set it to use the sun and adjust the darkness/lightness to get the shading very light like I want it, but these settings don't seem to get saved with the scene or style to be imported into LO.

    Thanks.

It should. Are you checking all the requirements in your process? You must save the scene, or update, with "shadow settings" set to be saved. You must save the file. Send to Layout and choose the scene for the view.

"You must save the scene, or update, with "shadow settings" set to be saved."

That was the problem—I'd done everything but.

        Thanks!
