I wish that there would be more physics added, like some waves, rope properties, explosion and even growing and shrinking(that seems too much ๐Ÿ˜„ ) will that's what I hope.

By the way thanks for confirming that it was just some typo.

Thanks of a lot for your efforts !
I can't wait to be able to use this wonderful plugin again sometime soon
(unfortunately I can't be of any help, not knowing anything about programming... sorry)

No one can help if the source is not made available. Why not make it public?

          Hi

yeah I agree but the author might be uncomfortable showing the source code. You can't just go banging down and go messing with the code.

I'm not really the owner of the source code. Chris Phillips is.

But I can share the news that we plan on making the source code fully available to the community through GitHub soon. We just have to get it cleaned up and "compilable" so others can use it.

              More soon...

Sounds good! It's always funny to play with SketchyPhysics. What happened to Chris Phillips?

When I try to open SP in SU 2014, I get the following error message. Any direction on what it might take to fix this? Windows 7 OS. Thanks!

I did comment out the "newtonCommand" line referenced, if that makes any difference.

                        Hi

I'm in the process of doing some internal combustion engine design in SU 2013 on Mac OSX 10.8.5....

So far I'm just using Dynamic Components to animate the moving parts using formulae...it works well, but takes a fair bit of trig to make it work, which can be time consuming and brain-straining...

I stumbled across SketchyPhysics on YouTube, which lead me to this thread...

It seems to me that SP is just what I need to help me quickly animate my moving parts...

williekj: how is the fix for Mac coming along?

Where can I find the beta you mentioned above? I'm keen to give it a try...

                        Thanks.

                            Dear Willeykj,

I really appreciate your work. Thanks to share the information. I am also facing the same common problem of sketchyPhysics. The sketchyPhysics is not working on SU2013.
I did all the stuff found on google. Finally after gone through your post it is really helpful. I would like to share the working sketchyPhysics 3.2 with all.
I have attached the <sketchyPhysics 3.2> which will work on SU2013
I have tested it on SU2014 it is not working.Nothing gets happen on SU2014.

<SketchyPhysics3.2.rbz> File size is 6.26 MB.
while uploading File size and File extension has limitation so I have changed the extension and the file is split into 3 part.

Please follow the below steps to make one <SketchyPhysics3.2.rbz>
1)Remove the zip extension of all part.
Open the First part file in winzip/7Zip
                            Extract it into one folder
Again zip the extracted output files into one zip file
Then change the extension zip to rbz.
                            OR
2)Remove the zip extension of all part.
Then by winzip/7zip compression utility combine the 3 parts and make it to one
Then change the extension zip to rbz

Please note that while using <sketchyPhysics 3.2> it will show you that you are using <sketchyPhysics 3.1> because I am not aware about how to make the changes.

If possible then please someone take the initiative and make the appropriate changes and maintain the correct version.

Updated Sketchy Physics 3.2 (14 May 2014)(File version will showing 3.1)

                              Only a hint:
Under Board index ... Plugins the author Anton_S is working on MSPhysics (0.1.0 Alpha)on the base of SketchyPhysics.
It would be the hammer if you could combine your forces. ๐Ÿ‘

Not sure if there's another thread for this but, isn't there a fix for SP and SU2014 yet? I have loaded the program but it just won't run. Searching the net and one sees various suggestions to open CMD files etc but we're not all pc literate. An suggestions folk?
                                Cheers, Doug
