I'm done with the component browser... It's tiny thumbnails, it's refusing to use other locations as libraries, it's 12 results out of 50,000 per page, it's closing if I hit escape while in window.

I've just started using XnView, and I'm pretty happy. thumbnail support for skp in 64bit system, from icon to massive thumbnails, drag and drop files into SketchUp, reorganize your files & folders as with windows explorer, filtering and searching... The only thing it lacks is 3D warehouse search, but I can just keep a browser window open to the 3D warehouse website and then download as needed. Plus, doing it that way i don't have to hit back in the component window to refresh folder views.

Pro License is pretty steep at $36US and €26EU but it's also freeware and they only ask for that of commercial users, of which I think I qualify.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

        Hi,

I use xnview for years now. I mentioned it some time ago here in the forum. But no one seemed to be interested.

I'm listening now Charly... Good to know Solo. I guess at $29US Mystic would be a better investment.

Q: Can I use IrfanView on Mac?
A: Yes, probably. There is no native-Mac version of IrfanView. However, you can use IrfanView in conjunction with Mac program like WineBottler/DARWINE. Take the ZIP version of IrfanView and unzip it or copy your existing Windows IrfanView folder to Mac. This is easier because the installer may need additional Windows DLLs to run.
