Shadows in layout

recently moved over to SU/LO 2014. opened a fairly large project in layout.
copied a view port and changed the view set up in sketchup and re-rendered.
With shadows set the rendered view port did not change the view and would not with any set view.Is anyone else experiencing this?

Just did a save as from LO 2014 to LO 2013 with the 2014 SU model inserted
All view ports with shadows now behaving correctly and as expected.Conclusion is that LO 2014 has broken shadows which for us makes it unusable, shame we were hoping for big improvements in layouts performance.
If anyone can replicate this maybe a quick solution can be found

I haven't had any problems with shadows showing in LO2014. Did you update the style in SketchUp before updating the reference and rerendering the viewport in LO?
How about completing your profile with OS and SU versions?
