Specific Size Curved Surfaces

Hi All,

New to Sketchucation and the forum, hopefully someone can enlighten me on what is surely a pretty straightforward fix!?

I work in exhibition design and have started using Sketchup for my visualisations. We work with aluminium profile extrusions and specific graphic sizes which can be either straight or curved, depending on the design.
So my question is, how do I create a curved surface at a specific size? For example I use a system which is made up of 800mm wide graphic panels at a few millimetres thick, and often want to have say, 3 straight ones in a line then an end one with a 45 degree curve. How do I ensure that the curved panel is exactly 800mm wide? Would it be a plugin to bend a straight panel or is there a simple way to draw a shape of a specific length and curve radius?
