Extrude tools problem

Hello All.
Can anyone help me out?
When I select a line and extrude by lathe, the resulting model ends up with holes in the extrusion.
I tried the weld plugin to heal the line, but got the same result.
Please see the attached picture and any tips to fix this would be much appreciated

Hi there !
I believe this is a simple case of creating very small faces(which Sketchup can't do). Please scale up your model about 10 100 times and try again. If it works, then scale down by the same amount and there you go.
