Daum 지도 (map) to Sketchup
-
Hello, I am in South Korea, and I want to model my local city. However, there are no 3D models of my city. Also, there are no street level views of my city. All I can find are street level views of Seoul, Korea and 3D models in Seoul, Korea.
Yet, if I use Daum 지도(map), I can get 3D images of my city. Also if I use Daum 지도(map), I can get street level views of my city.
My question, can I import 3D images of Daum 지도, into Sketchup?
The goal is to model the local area using a different map resource.

You can save the views as pixel images and import them as textures in SketchUp.

I'm in Gwangju South Korea. Koreans use Naver and Daum more than Google. I'm new at putting the ideas in Sketchup together. I don't know the workflow to do what is recommended above. If there is a good tutorial on Youtube I can find it.
Do you have any step-by-step guide recommendations?

You can find texture tutorials on youtube... e.g. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=sketchup%20texture%20tutorial&sm=3
