How do I scale models from 3D warehouse ?

Hi again out there.
The story is: I have drawn a house in Google Sketchup. The "scale" is in metres. If I import a model from 3D warehouse. ( For examle a man) How du I scale it to fit my drawing" For example, if I want the man to be 1.82 metres, what would you do?

Enter the component or group for editing, get the tape measure tool. Measure the desired distance from head to toe, then type in the new height for the object, hit enter and answer yes that you want to re-size the object.
