This is a new home in Philadelphia. One of the companies I work for was awarded the interiors only for this and we were provided the plans by the architect. I had to knock out 16 images in the last week working from plans and some sketches put together, so there was alot of back and forth.

Here are some of the images I came up with with Thea.

i love the stile, its like a NPR but with some PR feel to it
        great renders!

just two things that i think you could make even better:

        1. the wood texture on the cabinets and walls is a bit repetitive
        2. the flames on the fireplace are a bit cartoonish

Awesome style Jason! Am I seeing a subtle line-over too? Nice! πŸ˜„

Nice! Perfect material on the glass handrail in the first image!

Looks fantastic. I'm a fool who makes the line-over too obvious at times, you get it just right.

Yeah fire can be difficult. Just make it semi transparent and add some very low strength omnis in front. May want to test render it in isolation as to not wait for the whole scene to finish. When fire is not transparent it gets washed out by the omnis in my experience. I could be completely wrong though! πŸ˜†

You are fast mastering thea! πŸ‘

Very nice, Jason. That recessed handrail is a nice detail.

                      My avatar is an anachronism.

not thrilled with some of the client's choices on this, but here is the 'final' (I hope) of these...

Every is great except the lights

The LED spots lights you show here is expensive to buy and using large number is not practical at this time. Most household LED and florescent bubs don't work with dimmers any more also turning LED and florescent bubs on /off shortten the 5, 9 yrs life span. The auto wall sensor just flickers the lights with these new bulbs

This is now a big problem since they stop manufacturing condescend lights in the USA

The thru cost saving for energy bulbs is when you not heating the house. It save on air-conditioning and light cost usage for the unheated time of the year only.

                          My internet search

First Alert PIR725 Compact Fluorescent Bulb Compatible Motion Sensing Socket

                          $20+ and needs florescent bubs

Fulcrum Light-It Wireless Motion Activated 6-LED Porch Light + batteries

                          $25+ and needs batteries
What some people said about the product
"It does what I need it to do but doesn't put out a huge amount of light."
"I've had this light for about 2 1/2 years. It was quick and easy to install, provides a full entryway of light for security, and doesn't drain the batteries for a very long time--I've changed them once."

What are the lights you be designing for and how would you maintained them?

The lights are nothing specific. The bulb type/fine details of the downlights are not really a concern of mine.

They're based on the #19 IES file shown here...that's about as specific as I can get.
