Animation, problems with 2d face me components

Hello,

I'm attempting to make a SU animation (on a Mac) of a model with lots of 2d face me plants and trees. When the animation moves from one scene to another, the components take a long time to appear and so the transitions don't look smooth. Are there any tips for this? Many thanks, Sally
