I have a couple of potential holiday card ideas here..

I started with the loft interior and conceptual tree, but then came across a really cool photo of snow covered trees so i just quickly mocked it up to see if it had any potential. I'd add more detail, tracks, etc to the snow and arrange the trees.

any thoughts/suggestions on which way to go???

(obviously the loft concept hasnt been rendered yet)

I did this a few years back for the company I was with....it's coming out a bit pixelated for some reason, maybe photobucket has reduced its size, the real version was nice and crisp and used for emails to clients.

Just ideas anyway, I like it a bit more abstract; I really like your loft/tree concept. πŸ‘

It was actually rendered within SU then photoshopped:

            I like the white-out trees.

            Quite serene.

For a holiday card, I like the second one.

hmmm..thanks guys. I'm leaning that way too, but afraid its too similar to the card from a few years ago. I'm not terribly busy now so I might just go forward with both for the hell of it.

Why not have a snowy tree scene but inside your loft? Will look quite surreal! Like someone has gone crazy with a snow machine. πŸ˜†

                    haha.... that would be cool!

as much as i like the other, think i'm going to go with the loft version... worked on it a bit to try to wrap it up yesterday/today.

that one is wrapped up.. more or less went with that version and sent them off to print.

also knocked this one out for the family and sent it out. took my daughter's drawing and manipulated it a bit, added some entourage, and the background photo.
