CLF Perpenducular Face Tools plugin

I'm new to this so may what I'm doing to ask there's already a reply.
i installed CLF Perpenducular Face Tools plugin and its really an amazing tool that really helps in time. mt only problem is when i try to use custom align tool it just creates a copy on the plane not like tutorial showed. may be I'm doing something wrong from my side.if someone can help or direct me to maybe an already reply.
