      Hi everybody,

I am very new to Layout and am trying to put dimensions onto an exploded view drawing.

In Sketchup the dimensionlines always align to the 3D model. This is what I want to achieve in Layout. But Layout seems to only allow vertical, horizontal or somewhat tilted (60°?) dimensionlines. Is this so?

I have attached an image to illustrate my problem. What do I need to do to get aligned dimensions within Layout similar to those in Sketchup? Is it possible?

      Cheers
      Mikar

You might want to look at this thread where this has been discussed before.

Ah, I see the problem has already been discussed widely on this forum and a few workarounds have been suggested (like drawing guidelines in SU in order to place dimensiongrafics manually in LO).

            Thanks
