Define Segment Length of an Arc

Dear All
I am looking for a possibility to enter the length of the segements in an Arc instead of the number.
If we draw an Arc, we can enter e.g. 20s to get 20 segments. But I like to have segments with exactly 1m length (the last segment will probably shorter, if it does not fit exactly).
Is this not possible? Or is there a work around?Thanks in advance!

There is a tool "Polyline divider" in the bezier spline plugin for this (context menu) ...
