Section Macro

I would like to automate a simple five step process using SU core commands which goes like this...
Select section face
Routine:
- Create group from slice
- Make component
- Select last component (it deselects when the component is created)
- Save as... <user input for file name & path>
- Erase component
I have looked at the Ruby API but for the above routine I got lost very quickly. Can anyone help me on this?
Of course if TSU would just add .SKP to the export Section Slice file types!!!
