      At this moment you can only set the line Weight of the vectorlines in a sketchup model. I should be usefull that you could also set the linestyle and color for this model vectors.

      Now you need to explode your model to do this, it's a solution but i like to keep the link to the model because that's the strenght of LO.

      I use this for seeing what's in the updirection of a floorplan. I place 3 scenes of the same model on top of each other. The section, whats below and whats above. What's above should be in a dashed line.

        I'm totally agree with you, the hitch to set linestyle only by loosing the link with the original model it's a real shame!

          Better even if we were able to draw linestyles directly in Sketchup.

          A work around I use (not often) is to use the SU eraser tool with shift/control modifiers and a style with hidden lines turned on. The problem is that In LO those linestyles are only displayed in raster mode...
