Quickly paint internal wall faces black

sometime back i read an interesting tip to quickly make perspective sectional views by painting the internal faces of your walls black.

Also there's a plugin called section cut faces which makes material-as-per-your-wishfaces for the walls where they are sectioned . But it causes a lot of problems like this.

How can I quickly paint all the backfaces in the model with the colour black? Is there a plugin to do so?

first check in monochrome face mode that your faces are correctly oriented. In styles window, choose edit and under the second Tab ("Face") change the back color to black.

You can save it as a new style.

Once you sort out your face orientation you may find TIG's Section Cut Face plug works as expected. The only edit I usually need to apply is to delete unwanted faces which obscure the room, all my other voids close as expected.
