Section plane sizing

Can anyone help advice me how to alter the size of the section plane? I am trying to get a section for a house model and when the section plane is active it is HUGE! Is there a way to change this? I have only got the house model visible.

The section plane is always as big as what it cuts. If it is huge in your model, there must be something huge there, too. Can you share the model itself?

You can put section planes in a group. Then it will only cut through the object in the group or component and not the whole model.
