Leader text not showing in Layout

Hi. I have come across an anomaly with leader text not showing up in layout under certain conditions. If I double click on a named instance of a component with the text tool, its name appears as text without a leader line. This text does not show up in layout with vector or hybrid renders, only with raster. If I place the text using a leader line, both the text and line show up in all render methods in Layout. Anyone know why and if there is a solution?
