How do you resize a bounding box?
-
I have read a post under a similar title but it does not offer a solution to wanting to just resize the bounding box around groups/components alone. It mentions making a group a component or changing the axis' position but none of these work. Also rescale definition does not work. All I am wanting to do is tighten the box around the object. There is too much space in the bottom of the bounding box.
thanks

If it is obviously too big, not in proportion to the other sides of the box, then you probably have a small bit of geometry hiding down there, open the box for editing and try selecting down there and deleting any odd bits.
If it's just the normal bounding box then I don't believe you can resize it. -
Thanks "Box" I went in and looked but did not find anything. however there was a group of guides that i had that had a ridiculously large bounding box around them nested withing the group I was in. i just moved the group of guides, then started a new group of the objects i was resizing -- now the bounding box is where it should be
thanks!!!
