Hi, I read a lot of posts on here but don't post much, so thought I'd share my recent Podium renders. Always room for improvement so feel free to comment.

Wow! That first pic is especially amazing... the second doesn't have the same sense of depth to me, but that's like saying "the other gold brick isn't quite as shiny". Fantastic stuff.

The best Podium renders I've seen. Looks like best V ray renders. Congratulations.
Could your share your post process secret? -
Both look great to me. Are the chairs leather or plastic?- they look quite shiny. Cant help feeling that the area around them could be a bit brighter even if the window area then got burnt out a bit. Light dappling at the window is gorgeous though so might spoil it.

definitely the best podium renders i've seen, as well.. great job.

Thanks for the comments, the chairs are intended to be leather I know they are a bit too shiny. I do all the normally PP things to the renders, brightness contrast, levels, auto colour etc, the way I got the subtle light on the first image is by doing this:
Copy the main image. Desaturate the copied layer. Go to the level histogram. Pull the left triangule to the right until everything turns black apart from the window(s). Add gaussian blur to the new layer (blur to suit needs). Set the layer's blend mode to 'screen'. Adjust the opacity to suit.
Hope this is helpful. I have attached another render of a Kitchen, rendered with Podium again.

Very helpful... and very well put. If only all instructions were as clear. And not to gush, but the composition and render of that first pic is truly stunning. It looks even better on second viewing. You managed to highlight the window view and fireplace without distracting, then the transition from light to dark and the depth and... yeah I'm going to seek a strong drink now. Great pics all around.

Thanks for your comments Sepo, I know you were using Podium right from the beginning and posted a lot on the forum so I am glad you like it.
"wtrouser" I appreciate your feedback, thanks again.
