Nothing can beat Mother Nature in impressiveness.
Thta must be a heart-in-throat moment, seeing that large ice-filled swell heading toward your boat.
Pilou, I think what you see in the first video at 1:55 is a huge chunk of black ice. -
I think they were pretty glad to be on the mountain top and not climbing in the ice

(as in.. if we could harness all the energy, how long could we power lower manhattan with it etc)

I can imagine a collective exclamation from all of us responsible for global warming saying: "Oops, sorry, my bad".
(Of course I don't actually know that global warming had Anything to do with this, but it surely seems representational)
