Create a maxwell sub-forum?
-
i don't know if this is the right place for a suggestion like this: Wouldn't it be nice to make a sub-forum like the v-ray one here for maxwell render issues? Jason_Maranto would be a great moderator, if he's interested in such thing.
Sorry if this is inappropriate to write in this place!

I believe the reason why there's a separate VfSU sub-section relates back to the beginning of SCF and the fact that Vray is a so called de facto render application...
Just imagine how many sub-sections we would have, if all render applications would have their own...
Thea Render
Twilight
Kerkythea
Indigo
Podium
IDX Renditioner
LightUp
etc... etc...
(don't mean to exclude anyone, but the list would be way too loooong...)Why should there be a separate Maxwell section...?
What would justify that Maxwell get a separate section and others wouldn't...?I really don't see the need of a separate Maxwell sub-section...
Maxwell already have their own forum/community, where questions should be posted... -
i guess you're right...i just realised that there where many maxwell related questions in the past days/weeks. but i can't tell you why there should be a maxwell sub-forum and for the other applications not. and the maxwell questions could be answered anyways, so after all it was just a suggestion

Your question is good... I don't have an issue with you or your question...
I just wanted to point out the fact that sub-sections shouldn't be needed for each of the render applications available for SU... -
I think it is a great idea also!
