Sketch Up + 20-20 Design Wishes
-
Hello!
Don´t know if this topic has already been brought, but I was wondering if there´s a plugin or something like that that will enable to make a library on sketch up that is compatible with 20-20 Design version 9.
I´m aware that version 10 has the feature of importing files from sketch up and auto cad, but if there was one to be used in version 9, would be better.
The reason I need this is because i have to develop a library of furnitures that is compatible with SU and 20-20 Design, or else I´ll have to make two. I am still deciding where is better to make it, SU or 20-20... don´t really know what would be better 'Cause as far as I know I´d have to buy an extension of 20-20 to be able to make a catalog there...If anyone knows anything about this, I´d be very thankful

I'm not familiar with 20-20, but I had a look. Looks like a nice product, although there doesn't seem to be a mac version.
I was looking at their Design Select, and came across this...
So it looks as if this product has an importer that supports SketchUp.
I guess it is always the quality of the import that is the question.
I think a lot of folks on this forum would be interested in this, so keep us appraised. -
Thank you, Dale!
I´ll look up this information about the Idea Center... as far as I´ve researched, i can create a library of objetcs there (which I was also trying to find out how to do... ) but I haven´t managed to import any SU files yet.
I´m aware that on version 10 the quality of that import is perfect, but when I find out about that import on V9 I´ll update this post!
Thank you so much for the help!
