Database Plugin

Does anyone know of a Database Management Plugin or Component Management plugin? I am looking to create landscape plans with Sketchup Pro & Layout, but the biggest hindrance at the moment is a way to model the landscape with the plants I want then easily create a plant schedule from the components used in the model. I'm not a ruby scripter, or else I'd probably write my own plugin. Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks

Layout does not have scripting support, so any plugin would need to be for SketchUp.
From your brief description, it sounds like you just need to export component names to a file. What do you want to do that requires a Database Plugin?
