You are from Aladdin town (Aladdin 1992 Disney film): "For the scenery design, layout supervisor Rasoul Azadani took many pictures of his hometown of Isfahan, Iran for guidance".
I have to recommend this very good movie from Iran: Separation http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1832382/ which tells a story about separation in different levels: family, cultural, religious. The globalization force is tearing (separating) plant from the deep root. I learned about Iran (people, not buildings) and found them, their mentality and their problems (even their look) to be very similar to those of people in Serbia. -

Fars province that has Shiraz as it's heart, one of first settling places of Arians.
Perspolis, Takhte Jamshid, and many many other historical sites are located at Fars province.
many belive that Cedar and pine tree were holly trees for ancient Persian, and from this culture migrated to EU, etc....
as Zorastrian and Mitraism, belive that cedar and pine can resist the darkness and death...

Hi Majid. Beautiful photos from a beautiful country. I was lucky to get to visit Iran a couple of years ago, and it blew me away. From the spectacular scenery to unbelievably friendly people to the craziest drivers I have ever seen!
I travelled from Maku, To Tabriz (fantastic market), to Qazvin, to Tehran (I managed to cause a car crash while driving into Tehran), to Nowshuhr, to Bojnurd and into Turkmenistan.
I've been telling everyone they should go visit Iran since I got home. Would love to go back.

Majid, your images are "not allowed" to be embedded on this site - moreover, when I try to display them individually, I get a standard 403 ("Forbidden") error.
It's either some gremlins or a normal way of a site preventing images to be "hot-linked" (or something else like you can only see them when logged in - like attachments here on the forums)
