Web dialog and cookies on Mac
-
is there a trick to getting document.cookies to work in a Web Dialog on a Mac? I have a plugin that remembers user inputs on a web dialog by setting cookies. It works fine on Windows, but fails on a Mac. Debugging via the WebKit inspector seems to indicate that the cookies are never returned. They have a generous expiration date, so that's not it...
Any insight appreciated!
Thanks

i really doubt a user's preferences are going to affect this behavior you're experiencing but maybe just in case, fiddle with safari prefs..

I've used
dialog.allow_actions_from_host("*")to get things to work in the past. -
Would it easier to use the LocalStorage interface instead of cookies ?

Dan,
Thanks for the tip! I tried it, and it not only works more portably, it is cleaner code.
